The Banff Mountain Film Festival is a collection of short award winning films. The tour showed all kinds of independent films on rock climbing, base jumping, mountain biking and more. The crowd that Banff attracts each year is a lot of college-aged outdoor enthusiasts. Needless to say, this is not the kind of people that can afford to donate much to support the cause. But, where little is had, and little is given, much is appreciated. The total funds raised at the film festival will be counted after the showings tomorrow. This summer I hope to return again. By June, I need to fundraise $2500 for all of the projects that my group will be doing. This money does not include my traveling expenses.
